DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AT DONOSTIA
Welcome to the Basque Country! We are in Donostia – San Sebastian. Our host will welcome you with a stroll around the city to discover its secrets and to enjoy the tasty and famous local tapas (pintxos). Do not worry about the time, this activity if possible to do it during the day and also in the evening.

Back to the accommodation. Breakfast included. 

DAY 2- HIKING NEXT TO THE OCEAN
Breakfast. Transfer to Zarautz where we will hike the coastline up to Getaria. Enjoy the views to the ocean and the vineyards txakoli, you will have the chance to visit a local winery and to taste their wines and local products. Passing through  Santuario de Askizu (part of the Way of Saint James) we will get to the next accommodation located in the heart of countryside. Breakfast included.

DAY 3 – GIPUZKOA
After breakfast, we will transfer your belongings to the next hotel which is localted at the city of Gipuzkoa. This rute will guide you to Oñati where you will discover the history and the culture of the Basque people. After, you will be able to enjoy a few outdoor activities: hiking around the grazing area or the impressive and breathtaking Arrikrutz caves with professional guides.

2 nights at Oñati. Breakfast included.

DIA 4 – THE RIOJA ALAVESA
After breakfast, we will move to the winery region of Rioja Alavesa. The perfect spot to enjoy the landscapes of vineyards that have been here for so long and it shapes the culture of the locals. A biking tour around the vineyards will allow you to get to know better the grapes and the producion of wine. During the visit, we will visit a wine cellar to taste local products. After this beautiful day, we will head back to the accommodation in Oñati.

DAY 5 – SAN SEBASTIÁN

In the end, you will be transfer to San Sebtastián or another place that suits you better, and on the way, you have the chance to stop at Valle Salado of Añanay. A unique place with traditional engineering that produces salt which is used by all the restaurants Michelín stars of the Basque Country.
